Archbishop Tenison’s School Development Trust

What is the Development Trust and what does it do? Read on to find out more.

About the Trust
At Archbishop Tenison’s CE High School, we ask parents to contribute to a fund which has been set up with the aim of providing better facilities for all our students. The fund is charitable and is managed by the Development Trust committee. Our registered charity number is 282496.

What we provide
In recent years, the Trust has been able to renovate several of our teaching rooms and install them with the latest equipment. The Art, Technology and Music rooms have had an entire makeover to improve their usability and now feature modern Mac computers for students to complete their work. We have also been able to build a fully equipped recording studio in our new Music room.

What’s next?
We are aiming to raise £100,000 to build an indoor sports hall. Our students currently use the main hall and dining area in wet weather for PE lessons. A covered area would prove to be a lot more practical and would also provide a quieter area for students to sit their exams.

How you can support the Trust
We ask for an annual donation of £120 per child attending the school, though we understand that this may not be possible for all parents. We are therefore grateful for any donation you are able to give.

We are also seeking sponsors for our Sports Hall Appeal, details of which can be found here.

Parents and guardians can donate via ParentPay, where you can pay the full amount at once or by instalments in amounts and at times most convenient to you. Alternatively you can use our page on BT MyDonate by clicking the button below.
